Villa Sol is located in a quiet area just outside of the town of Calasparra, along the carretera de Valentin. Calasparra can be easily reached with an hour's drive from San Javier & Alicante airports.

The town has a population of about 10,000 and is famous for its rice crops, as well as its outstanding beauty.
In the evening there are many bars and cafes must of which have typically Spanish Tapas selection and doing a "Tapas run" is highly recommended.
The impressive and awe-inspiring "sanctuary of the virgin Esperanza" is on the outskirts of the town and is a must visit attraction.
From March to October there are many fiestas not only in Calasparra but also in the nearby towns such as Valentin, Moratalla, Bullas and Caravaca.
The Murcia region has many golf courses, booking and transport can be arranged in advance of your holiday.
The area around Calasparra has some of the best walking routes in Spain and the views from these walks can be breath taking. If you prefer mountain bikes can be hired direct from Villa Sol.
